Every satrapy, symbol, and mechanic is designed to enrich the game with strategic tension and thematic depth.
Custom Features:
Victory Point System
Each region contains 1–3 coins in its region box, representing Victory Points.
To win the game, players must capture and hold 10 Victory Points for a full turn.
Barracks System
Regions include 1–2 human icons, representing barracks.
If a player controls an entire region, they may place up to 2 barracks per turn on its territories.
Each barracks grants +1 troop during the draft phase, compounding your military strength.
City Territories
Territories marked with a city icon reward players with Action & Event Cards.
Gain 1 card per city captured, up to 3 per turn, for tactical advantages and surprise plays.
Desolate Satrapies
Marked with a skull icon, these harsh lands are difficult to defend.
They may only be defended by up to 3 troops, but any number of units can pass through them.
Defensive Borders
Territories separated by dashed circle lines represent fortified frontiers.
Defenders attacked across these borders receive a +1 bonus to their defensive dice rolls.
Thematic Details
The Persia Board uses the historical names of the empire’s regions for a period-authentic feel. Instead of generic “territories,” players conquer satrapies, each rooted in real-world geography and imperial structure.
